Put Your Knowledge Into Practice

Apply what you know, test it, and prove it for yourself. Through this never-ending process, you'll gain the knowledge required to become a better human being. And you'll start developing a deeper understanding of reality.

Self education is more important than formal education. I know what I know today, not because of school, but because of my insatiable curiosity.

School is fine. It's part of the learning journey in life. During this time, you get to make friends, meet a lot of people, and expose yourself to a lot of experiences. But school doesn't teach you how to live. Or how to be content with your position in life. Or how to keep calm in situations of despair.

To keep growing and learn this, you must continue educating yourself. No one is going to do it for you. Read, listen, watch. Read books or articles; listen to podcasts or audiobooks; and watch videos or documentaries. Look for topics that genuinely intrigue you. Content that's thought-provoking and challenges your current perspective.

Cultivate your curiosity and pay attention. Compare all that you learn, and begin formulating theories based on the information you gather. Avoid being one-sided, because that will only limit your potential. You gotta learn how to see things from different perspectives at the same time.

"Accept nothing as final until you have proven it; but if you are wise, you will profit by the advice and experience of those who have gone before."

Such advice and experience is found all around you. Just visit your local library or bookstore and you'll find it.

Don't focus on a single thing. Absorb anything that can contribute to your personal growth from various perspectives. Then put the knowledge into practice. Reading and consuming information without action is worthless. What's the point in that?

Apply what you know, test it, and prove it for yourself. Through this never-ending process, you'll gain the knowledge required to become a better human being. And you'll start developing a deeper understanding of reality.
