They Await Your Command
When the inner tiger roars, remember who holds the keys to the cage.
At center ring, a trainer faces a massive tiger, its amber eyes blazing with wild hunger. There’s no whips. No chains. No barrier between tamer and tamed. Just presence. The beast paces, the muscles coil, testing boundaries. The trainer stands firm, patient, unwavering. And finally, the great cat settles. It recognizes a superior force.
This scene plays out within you. Daily.
You wake to find your inner tiger prowling. Anger snarls at the traffic that makes you late. Envy stalks your social media feed. Fear crouches in the shadows of every important decision. Jealousy paces when someone achieves what you wanted.
These primal forces served your ancestors well. Anger provided strength against threats. Fear prevented dangerous choices. But what once protected now often destroys. The beast that helped you survive can sabotage the life you're trying to build.
The Yogis understood this ancient struggle. Your animal nature is not evil. It's simply operating by outdated programming. Like a guard dog barking at every delivery truck, it means well but lacks discernment.
So, what is the solution? Do you kill the beast? No. You train it.
