Three Rules for Living

When tension rises, let kindness lower it. When confusion spreads, let presence clarify it. When judgement tightens, let allowing loosen it

Three rules. Simple. Sufficient.

Be kind. Because kindness is a gentle gravity. It settles the room. It clears static. It lightens what you carry. You rarely regret it. You often regret its opposite.

Do your best. Not perfection, presence. Bring all of you to the moment in front of you. Attention is a kind of craftsmanship; applied steadily, it compounds. Skills sharpen. Trust gathers. Paths open.

Allow others the same privilege. Control clutches. Allowing opens. A closed fist can’t receive or guide. An open hand can point the way without gripping the wheel. Autonomy breeds respect. Respect breeds growth.

Think of these as a compass. A north for how you move through the day. They scale, from minutes to years, from one person to many.

When tension rises, let kindness lower it. When confusion spreads, let presence clarify it. When judgement tightens, let allowing loosen it.

Be kind. Do your best. Allow others the same privilege.

That’s enough.
