You Are in Charge of Your Life
Act with purpose, and be grateful for what you have. Visualize your dreams and let that inspiration propel you into action. Remember, you are the architect of your own life, and the Absolute will support you along the way.

I keep a gratitude journal most days. I try my best to do it every day, but sometimes life's errands and inevitable distractions prevent me from being consistent. I write three things I am grateful for, upload a picture (it's an app), and each day has a famous quote. Recently, the quote talked about how we are the only ones who can make ourselves truly happy, that we have the power within us to shape our life or shape the way we perceive our life.
According to the Yogi philosophy, we are all manifestations of the Absolute. Unlike some religions that emphasize asking God to take care of everything, yoga encourages us to take charge of our lives. We can't just keep doing the same things and expect different results.
In fact, there's a complete branch of yoga regarding the path of action – it’s called Karma Yoga. To learn important lessons, we have to act. And it's not just about constantly doing; we also need moments of stillness for reflection. Which will help us make wiser choices in the future.
It's not about endlessly asking the Absolute (God) for things without putting in any effort ourselves. We should be grateful for what we have now, visualize how we want our lives to be, and that will get us inspired to take action. That visualization will fuel our drive to work hard, learn, grow, and make intelligent choices.
Of course, not every attempt will succeed; sometimes you'll feel disappointed at outcomes, and that's perfectly okay. Disappointment is part of the journey. It's through these experiences that we learn valuable lessons. The Absolute provides opportunities, and if something doesn't work out, it's just a sign that there's a different path meant for us.
The Yogi philosophy teaches us to let go of attachment to material things. It's not about waiting for a deity in the sky to grant our wishes; it's about taking the necessary steps ourselves. Not to acquire material things, but to collect experiences and knowledge that will help us unfold, improve, grow and develop.
Take charge of your life, act with purpose, and be grateful for what you have. Visualize your dreams and let that inspiration propel you into action. Remember, you are the architect of your own life, and the Absolute will support you along the way.
