On one of the various podcasts I regularly listen to, the host recently discussed the topic of pseudoscience. “A collection of beliefs or practices mistakenly regarded as being based on scientific methods,” as defined on Wikipedia.

For instance, some scammers promote new products or methods that promise remarkable results. But when they are questioned about the scientific basis behind their claims, they often evade by saying that it cannot be proven by current scientific standards.

If it cannot be proved by science, then it must not be real. Which, on one hand, is true. There are a lot of scammers out there trying to rip people off and coming up with excuses to evade testing their practices or products because they know that what they're offering doesn't work.

On the other hand, it is very arrogant to think that us humans are perfect beings and have reached the maximum heights of advancement and the technological pinnacle of human existence. The Yogis know that although we are the highest manifestation on this planet, we still have much to learn and develop. We are not complete creatures; we are constantly evolving and improving. And just as cavemen seem savage and primitive to us, so will we seem to humans in the distant future.

We cannot assume that we have already developed everything that is needed to be developed, that we are at the pinnacle of pinnacles, that there's no more room for improvement in our scientific approaches, or that we already know everything in terms of scientific proof and scientific methods.

Eventually, we will be able to develop the technology and the scientific methods necessary to prove things that we are not able to prove today. Not because they are not true, but because we lack the tools, knowledge, or consciousness to test them.

Science is powerful. It is amazing. Necessary. But not everything can be proven by science, at least not yet. We first need to develop and unfold.

Imagine if someone asked you: "Do you require scientific evidence for absolute belief in everything?” You answer that yes, you need proof. Now, imagine if they asked you next: “Do you love your children, your partner, your parents, and your pets?” Your answer is undoubtedly YES. But they don’t believe you, because they demand scientific proof before acknowledging your love.

You don’t need to do scientific experiments to recognize your love as true. Some things can be proven by the reality of our own consciousness.
