Reach out. Connect. Be present.

Use our interconnectedness as a tool for genuine connection rather than a substitute for it. Behind every profile picture, every text message, is a human being yearning for real connection. The world is made better by love, by genuine interest in others, by open-hearted connection.

A bustling restaurant on a Sunday afternoon. Families gather around tables, the air filled with the aroma of Tex-Mex cuisine. But something's amiss. Children and teenagers sit, headphones on, eyes glued to screens. They're physically present, yet worlds away from the loved ones beside them. This scene, witnessed countless times during my days as a server in Nashville, paints a stark picture of our modern paradox: we're more connected than ever, yet increasingly alone.

The lyrics of Armin Van Buuren's "Alone" echo this sentiment: "Everyone's connected but no one is connecting / The human element has long been missing." These words strike a chord, don't they? In our hyper-connected world, we've mastered the art of digital communication but often neglect the warmth of genuine human interaction.

The Yogis teach us that we are all manifestations of a greater whole. Each of us a spark of the divine. "And you must see,” as Yogi Ramacharaka beautifully expresses, “and feel, that all the world is alive and full of intelligence in varying degrees of manifestation. Feel yourself a part of that great life."

A perspective that challenges us to look beyond our screens and recognize the living, breathing souls around us.
