Respect Every Person
Although the Yogi philosophy is not a religion, kindness is at the core of its teachings. It is the most important virtue: love towards one another, regardless of their appearance, opinions, or beliefs, whether they are a friend, a family member, or a complete stranger.
“At the heart of all religions lies a single unifying truth. Let Persians bear their taovids, Jews wear their caps, Christians bear their cross, Muslims bear their sickle moon, but we have to remember that these are all only outer signs. The general essence of all religions is love to your neighbor, and that this is requested by Manuf, Zoroaster, Buddha, Moses, Socrates, Jesus, Saint Paul, and Mohammed alike.”

“You have to respect every person,” as German philosopher Arthur Schopenhauer points out, “no matter how miserable or ridiculous he or she may be. You should remember that in every person lives the same spirit which lives in us.”
It is that same spirit that resides within us all, the universal essence that binds us as humans, the divine spark from the Absolute. We are like drops from the same ocean.
The world may be full of different ideas, races, languages, perspectives, and religions. However, despite our differences, we have more in common than we realize. We all want to be happy, feel loved, belong, and have a meaningful life.
Rather than merely tolerating others, respect them, be kind to them, and love them.
