Rise Above Political Cycles

Another election has come and gone. Social media exploded with dramatic predictions. Some celebrated salvation while others declared doom. Friends threatened to move somewhere else. Both sides treated it like the final battle between good and evil.

Presidents can shape policy, sure. But they can't make you more compassionate or creative. They can't do your inner work for you. They can't teach you to be more patient with your children. They can't help you find your life's purpose. They can't make you more honest with yourself. They can't heal your childhood wounds. They can't deepen your relationships. They can't make you face your fears. They can't build your self-discipline. They can't develop your emotional intelligence. They can't strengthen your character. They can't expand your capacity for empathy. They can't nurture your spiritual growth. They can't improve your self-awareness. 

The person responsible for that is you. Only you. Regardless of who sits in office, nothing ever changes. Growth still stares back at you in the mirror each morning. Your duty to be kind (even to those who oppose your political views) to do the best you can, and to mind your own business, doesn't change with election cycles.

No election result can stop you from being a force for good. The choice to serve, to lift others up, to grow beyond your current limitations… that sacred power lives within you, untouchable by any political winds.
