Want a Sense of Calmness and Clarity?

At any moment of despair, when the external world feels overwhelming and chaotic, there is a profound refuge that lies within each of us.

Born in 1869 in India, Gandhi became a prominent leader in the Indian independence movement against British colonial rule. Throughout his life, Gandhi encountered numerous challenges, including discrimination, imprisonment, and violence. He was known for his unwavering commitment to nonviolent resistance and his pursuit of peace and justice.

In the midst of the struggle for independence, Gandhi turned to meditation as a means to maintain inner peace and clarity of mind. He devoted himself to just "sitting in silence,” focusing on his breath, and emptying his mind of thoughts.

Gandhi believed that meditation was not only a personal practice but also a tool for social transformation. By cultivating inner peace, he believed he could inspire others and promote nonviolence as a powerful force for change. Throughout his life, Gandhi faced tremendous opposition and hardship, but he remained steadfast in his commitment to peaceful resistance.
