Let them be themselves. Love them. Accept them exactly as they are. Do not try to change them. Do not try to mold them into what you think they should be. Do not try to force your views of the world onto them. Be kind, mind your own business, and grant others the same privilege.

Commit to Honing This Skill
Focus is the key to meaningful work and self-realization—having the strength and discipline to tune everything else out and concentrate on the task at hand. Without focus, you can’t really do much. If your mind is jumping all over the place every minute, you won’t be able to get anything done.

Give Your Body The Fluids It Needs
Help your body perform its functions properly. Drink a glass of water before going to bed, then fill it up again and place it on your nightstand. That way, when you wake up, water will be ready to enter your body. Refill it and keep it next to you during the day, remembering to keep drinking. Make it a habit.

Be Specific When You Express Gratitude
Instead of saying ‘thank God,’ express your gratitude to that person who cooked your food. Thank the pilot who securely brought you back home on your flight. Thank yourself for making the right lifestyle choices to keep a healthy body. Thank the people who take care of the park trails you enjoy so much. Thank your spouse for working hard every day to provide the household with a comfortable life. Thank your loved ones for the unconditional support that gets you by through the most difficult moments.
